Is it free?
Yes. There is no price, no subscription, no in-app purchase and no ads. Every reading is included.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start. There is no sign-in, and it never asks for your name or email address.
Where is my progress?
On your iPhone, in the app's own storage. It is not sent to us, and it doesn't sync to your other devices. Deleting the app deletes it. On a new iPhone, it comes with you only if you set the new phone up from a backup of the old one.
How do I start over?
On the Learn tab, tap the gear for Settings, then Reset Progress. It clears finished readings, answers, review cards, saved cards and your streak. Your settings stay. It can't be undone. To clear your settings too, delete the app and install it again.
How do I turn reminders off?
In the app's Settings, switch off Daily reminder. Or turn off notifications for the app in iPhone Settings › Notifications › Phoebe U. The reminder is set on your iPhone, so nothing else needs changing.
Is this financial advice?
No. Phoebe Understandings is education. It explains how markets, trading and trading systems work, and it never tells you what to buy or sell. Examples marked Illustrative are made up, and real figures link to their sources. Phoebe Markets LLC is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer.
Which iPhones does it run on?
Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later: iPhone XS, XR, SE (2nd generation) and newer. It is made for iPhone and works offline.
I found a mistake in a reading. How do I report it?
On the screen with the mistake, tap ⋯ at the top right, then Report a Problem. It opens an email to us with the reading and the screen already filled in, so we can find it; add what looks wrong and tap Send. If your iPhone isn't set up for Mail, it shows our address to copy instead. You can also write to support@phoebemarkets.com and name the reading, like A2 or B3.
Is it the same as Phoebe?
No. Both are made by Phoebe Markets LLC, but they are separate apps. Phoebe Understandings teaches; it doesn't connect to Phoebe, to a brokerage or to any account.
