How a reading works

One idea per tap.

Each reading is a short story in chapters. You go one screen at a time, and the pictures build as you go.

  1. Tap. One idea on each screen. Read it, tap Next, and the next piece arrives.
  2. Slide. Move a number and watch what changes: inflation against a savings rate, fees against growth, a stop against the size of a trade.
  3. Check. Quizzes, sorts and chart drills where you tap the candle. Every answer, right or wrong, tells you why.

Every real number, study or event links to where it came from. Made-up examples are marked Illustrative.

The first screen of a reading, Chapter 1, The quiet leak: “Meet Maya. She’s 26, in her first real job, with $3,000 saved,” over a picture of Maya checking her savings at night.
A question in a reading: Maya’s bank pays 0.38% and prices rose 3.7%. The answer “Less. Prices outran her interest.” is marked Right, with why: more dollars, each buying less.

Practice and Saved

Keep what you read.

Practice gives you a short set each day from the readings you’ve finished: review cards, a chart drill and a scenario. Skill bars show how your answers are going, and the Playground lets you try every slider again.

Saved keeps your insight cards. Tap the heart on an idea worth keeping, and it’s there to reread or share as an image.

Set a daily goal of 5, 10 or 15 minutes, and a reminder if you want one.

The Practice tab: today’s 8-minute set of 10 review cards, a chart drill and a scenario, above skill bars built from your answers.
